OH&S Property Inspection
The general criteria we work to is that we aim to
achieve a fee of $ 125 per hour with a set minimum base fee of $ 250.
Our experience is that the preparation of the report usually takes the
same time as the inspection of the building.
Hence an inspection of, say, 2 hours then involves a further two hours
reporting, 4 hours @ $ 125 = $ 500 plus our base fee of $ 250 gives a
fee of $ 750.
Included in this fee is the supply of one copy of
our standard OH&S Manual which covers the basic requirements necessary
to comply with the OH&S legislation, additional copies are available
at $ 100 per copy.
Essential Services
If we are required to also complete an Essential
Services inspection this involves an additional fee of $ 250. This
service includes the preparation and supply of a complete Asset
Register of all Essential Services at the premises, which in turn is
supported by a full digital photographic record of item on the
register, which is held on our files.
This fee does not include the maintenance of the
various logs and registers required under the Regulations. If we are
required to attend to this an additional fee is charged depending on
the level of registers/logs required.
We recommend both inspections be conducted
conjointly.
Contractor Induction
We will carry out Contractor
Induction/Certification – depending on the number of contractors
involved - fee by negotiation.
Example
OH&S Inspection – Base fee $250
OH&S Inspection and report (say 2 hour inspection) $500
Essential Services - Base Fee $250
Additional inspection/photograph time (say 1 hour) $125
Total: $ 1,125 plus GST.
The above is an example and the actual cost depends
on the time involved.
